  • What do I need to bring to my first appointment?
    For your first Physiotherapy appointment, it is recommended that you bring the following: 1. Comfortable Clothing: Wear or bring clothes that allow easy movement. If you have a leg or back injury, bring a pair of shorts. For females with a neck or shoulder injury, bring a vest top. 2. Footwear: If your injury is related to running, bring your normal running trainers for assessment. 3. Medical Information: Bring any relevant medical records, referral letters, and a list of medications you are taking. 4. Questions: Any questions you may have about your condition or treatment plan.
  • Do I need a referral from a doctor to attend Physiotherapy?
    No, you do not need a referral from a doctor to attend physiotherapy at our clinic, as we accept self-referrals. However, we also welcome referrals from GPs and consultants if you have one.
  • What will my first Physiotherapy appointment include?
    Your first physiotherapy appointment will typically include the following: 1. Initial Consultation: Discussion of your medical history, current symptoms, and any previous treatments. 2. Physical Examination: Assessment of your posture, movement, and any areas of pain or discomfort. 3. Diagnosis: Identification of the underlying issues causing your symptoms. 4. Treatment Plan: Development of a personalised treatment plan tailored to your needs and goals. 5. Initial Treatment: Depending on the diagnosis, you will receive some initial treatment, which may include, manual therapy, exercises and advice on managing your condition. 6. Education: Information on your condition, how to manage it at home, and what to expect from future sessions. 7. Q&A: Opportunity to ask any questions you may have about your condition or treatment plan.
  • Do I need to bring someone with me?
    Clients under 16 are required to have an adult accompany them to all sessions. Clients over 16: Bringing someone with you to physiotherapy is not necessary, but you can if you prefer. A companion might be helpful for support, assistance with transportation, or to help you remember the information provided during the appointment. If you're comfortable attending on your own, that's perfectly fine as well.
  • Do you have an attendance policy?
    We understand that things can crop up from time to time and your appointment may need to be rescheduled. We ask that you give us 24-hour notice of any cancelled Physiotherapy appointment or Pilates Class. Failure to do so will result in a cancellation charge which is non-refundable or redeemable against any other session.
  • What should you bring to Pilates?
    For a Physiotherapy-led Pilates class, bring comfortable, fitted clothing, a water bottle, a Pilates mat, a towel, any necessary medication, and relevant medical document.
  • What if I need to see a specialist or require surgery?
    We have established close relationships with local GP’S, Consultants and specialists so we can arrange a referral for you if needed. We will help you decide on the best course of action. We can also refer you for an X-Ray/ MRI.
  • What conditions do we treat?
    Below is a list of common conditions we treat. However, this list is not exhaustive, so please contact us to see if we can help with your specific condition. 1. Neck Pain 2. Back Pain 3.   • What are your opening hours?
    We are open from 9 am until 5 pm Monday to Friday and 9 am until 12 pm on Saturday.
  • How long does a treatment session last?
    Both your initial evaluation and review treatment sessions will be 45 minutes.
